UMKC, Johnson County Community College reach credit-transfer agreement - Boston Business Journal:

Curators of the University of Missouri, on behalc of UMKC and the JCCC Boardof Trustees, will sign an articulatio agreement Wednesday at JCCC. The agreement guarantees that UMKC will accepy and apply designated freshmam and sophomore credits from JCCC associatse degree programs towardUMKC bachelor’s degree programs, consistent with the treatment of non-transferf student credits, UMKC said in a Tuesdayh release.
“As an urban-servinvg university, UMKC is dedicate to making higher education accessibler to all students and forminyg meaningful partnerships witharea institutions,” Mel UMKC’s vice chancellor of student affairas and enrollment management, said in the “This articulation agreement with Johnson County Community College is just one way we affirm that commitment.” UMKC also offers the Metro a program that allows residentw of Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami and Wyandotte counties in Kansax to pay in-state tuition for undergraduater study.
